I did use the solorize filter in PS7 to give it a shimmering effect. I would like to

know if this effect is too much?

I am genetically deficient in the part of my encoding that allows people to appreciate solarization. Looks like it was an interesting image all by itself before to tampered with it. It appears to be a nice composition, almost like a typical christian image of christ on the cross. Oh well. I am sure some people will like what you did to it.

I think that the solirization effect is a bit much. It's sort of neither here nor there. The central focus gets lost and the resulting image is neither abstract nor representative. The highlight and shadow blend doesn't quite work as the top of the image is a bit too busy and doesn't balance well with the bottom.

I think the solarization really makes the image. It's neither abstact nor representative. It's surreal.
