I have seen many, many photos of this castle, and this is amongst the best.  I lived on the Isle of Skye until I was 10 years old, so take an interest in the castle, which as you know is not on Skye, but nearby on the mainland.

Excellent exposure. I agree, you captured the blues very well and the lights are beautiful but it seems to me that the castle leans a bit to the right? or is that my imaginition?

Les, I have also been to this castle, and comparing your image to the ones I took, it just highlights to me how much I have to learn, and makes me appreciate you comments on my efforts even more. Thanks for your critiques, and congrats on an excellent shot.

Perfect light and exposure, bringing out just enough of the background hills to show the layers, but not enough to distract from the main event.
