I desaturated (obviously) everything except the moss - which seems to be

the only thing I can see to avoid everything getting caught in midtone hell.

Thougths?

A very good idea, excellent  composition and PP. I would  use a more  closed down  aperture  to get more df., and  not  limited  the sharpness  to  one  point only. An f/16  would  make a magic  here.  I like the image very much. Bravo.
