County Fair (two), Circa 1991

It was a dark evening and the wind was picking up. Umbrellas opened

as the sky began to drop rain.

I like the combination of colours and the dark sky.

 

Timage would have better balance if the foreground figure were further to the right of the image (more to her left).

Hey, this is better than the wheel alone. Everything nice except tilted horizon and the girl a bit randomely placed in frame.

great colors. best part of this shot is the sky IMHO. it's too bad the shutter wasn't tripped just a second or two earlier when the girl was further back and to the right in the frame.

I disagree with E.S -- I like the placement of the girl here. Though B&W is often the standard with "street" work, here's a clear instance of excellent use of color.

Wonderful photograph! I disagree with above comments about the placement of the girl. I think this shows her fleeding the fair, sort of trying to outrun the rain, if you will. the tilted horizon is the only part mildly distracting. great shot! I don't like to rate photographs often, but if I did I would have to say 6 for O, and 5.5 for A!

Really like the colors, the composition, the clarity. Good job.
