smhickel 0 Posted March 5, 2003 It was a dark evening and the wind was picking up. Umbrellas opened as the sky began to drop rain. Link to comment
richard_milner2 0 Posted March 5, 2003 I like the combination of colours and the dark sky. Timage would have better balance if the foreground figure were further to the right of the image (more to her left). Link to comment
larry_brotzler 0 Posted March 5, 2003 I like the color contrast with the dark sky. Nice composition. Link to comment
tomm 0 Posted March 5, 2003 Hey, this is better than the wheel alone. Everything nice except tilted horizon and the girl a bit randomely placed in frame. Link to comment
edlark 0 Posted March 5, 2003 great colors. best part of this shot is the sky IMHO. it's too bad the shutter wasn't tripped just a second or two earlier when the girl was further back and to the right in the frame. Link to comment
m_bailey 0 Posted March 6, 2003 I disagree with E.S -- I like the placement of the girl here. Though B&W is often the standard with "street" work, here's a clear instance of excellent use of color. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 6, 2003 Wonderful photograph! I disagree with above comments about the placement of the girl. I think this shows her fleeding the fair, sort of trying to outrun the rain, if you will. the tilted horizon is the only part mildly distracting. great shot! I don't like to rate photographs often, but if I did I would have to say 6 for O, and 5.5 for A! Link to comment
