You are producing a very unique portfolio and we would be honored if you would tell more about your technique and equipment. You say, handmade macro lens, what is that, tell us more. Clearly you are using flash also, I would like to learn more. Your photos, is the entire image completed "in the field" in one shot? Tell about the insects, this is fascinating stuff and I extend the highest regards to you.

Thanks for looking my photos. (I'm poor at English. )

This picture was taken by hand made special wide-angle lens (Reproduction rate is about 1:1 and  the focal length is about 2-3mm.)

Digital photo Synthesis and other techniques are not used.

Equipment :

NIKON D300s

Hand made lens (MF 2~3mm F200~F500 1:1 approx.)

NIKON Speedlight SB-900

1/10, ISO 1600 , hand-held (Very difficult to acquire a stabilized image)

Very interesting, don't worry about the English, it is fine. Do you have a picture of your camera/lens, this all sounds interesting indeed. Hand held! no tripod? wow.
