Jean-Michel,

Tayler is a beautiful girl. You have focused well on her eyes. Her skin tone is wonderful. The background is nicely neutral and she is well separated from it. You have burned in the edges very well. She has very nice specular highlights on her lips. Your choice of earrings go very well with her pretty blonde hair. They make her look even more elegant. The broad lighting works very well with her slim face and graceful long neck. Your use of shadows add interest and creates a good illusion of depth within your photograph. Cropping into her hair allows you to do the nice tight crop on the bottom. The angle of her head looks very good.

Her make-up looks very nice, but a little eyeliner under her eyes would help make her eyes stand out even more.

Your subject should have more room in front of her than behind. This allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph.

If not making eye contact with the camera (viewer), the eyes should follow the line of the nose. It is natural to look where your head is pointing. If looking off to the side you should show what she is looking at or provide a reason that she is not looking where her head is pointing.

It is best to have at least some of the whites of her eyes showing on each side of her irises. This helps to make her eyes look balanced. If this is not possible try to limit the amount of white showing on only one side. If you have her looking out of the corners of her eyes it looks awkward and unnatural.

In her left eye you have the catch light bleeding into the whites of her eye. It should be contained within the iris.

Something terribly wrong has happened to the catch light in her right eye. This must be corrected.

Nice shot,

Mark

Splendid model and way you did this portrait show all her beauty, concerning the light in the eye I am not so disturb from it,I think all this portrait is very natural and in a very good light ballance,in larger view she looks so real, for this I only say compliments.

I can't add anything to what has already been said but I do feel it would be rude to say nothing. I do like to see a beautiful woman, beautifully captured.

Thank you all for the comments. I do appreciate Mark's comment on the eye. That is an easy fix. It is interesting that in post, I can get so involved in the big things: tone, color, light, comp and miss a small detail until I see the photo again a few days later.
