bacsa 0 Posted March 4, 2003 nice capture. I would have liked the not symmethric version as well. Maybe even more. Anyway, watch for the shadows if you mirror the image, they are mirrored too and this makes the picture a bit confusing. Grtz Link to comment
John Crowe 165 Posted March 7, 2003 This is where digital "photography" disappoints me! A hundred years ago artists had a problem with photography (still do) and now photographers have a similar problem with "digitography" (Hey, I think this word belongs to me!) This goes beyond dodging and burning! Perhaps I would comment on the composition on a digitography site. Link to comment
jud 0 Posted March 7, 2003 I enjoy the strong, hyper-real colors and the symetric composition. Nice work capturing both the feeling of depth and the land details in the background. Regards, Jud Link to comment
keniji 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Hi All! Here's a pic I took in Cyberjaya, KL. I thought the bridge look more interesting in a symetrical manner. So, I did the combination. I know this breaks the rule of the "angle" of the sun but this was also purposely done because of the strong shapes of the shadows which adds to the symetry... What do you think? Link to comment
john_paskey 0 Posted March 9, 2003 Great composition. Good color. Looks like it could be sharper but it`s still really good. Link to comment
miguelangelhoyas 0 Posted March 16, 2003 The shadows mirrored makes an strange artificial effect, I'm not sure about this point but the idea is good. Link to comment
