I like very much the placement of the objects. I think you could have experimented or could experiment more with a few more small delicately placed spot lights or reflectors. Try maybe shining one on the background even to highlight the glass ware in the back and the scales. And maybe a reflector or another spot on the porcelain pestle in front. I love to admire little reflective nature on  such surfaces to show form and shape of things.  I  encourage you to play with subject for even better result, meaning try for even more "specular" highlights if I may be permitted to suggest same. Nice tones.  Fascinating subjects for a still life. I wish you well. gs

I would follow the suggestion of Gerry a bit more light on the open Notebook could improve the picture.
