sonneland 0 Posted May 7, 2010 Pamela, a simple well presented image. deserves much better ratings than is receiving. nice work! Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted May 7, 2010 Focus, color balance, tonality and type of your view are perfect and impressive. But shallower DOF is preferable. Regards. Hamid. Link to comment
karolostrivizas 2 Posted May 8, 2010 The nicely contrasting vivid color tones Pamela and the nice DOF and details are IMHO the main credits of this excellent floral close up. Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted May 8, 2010 Simple, elegant, beautiful and with exception clarity and natural colour, (and absolutely no similarity to my socks) maybe cropped a bit tight on the left, but then you probably have a good reason for doing that, and in any case, doesn't detract from the image unduly. (I see the anon 3's are back.....words fail me! suffice to say that is why I have opted out of the rating system, and post for "critique only" these days.)I like the subtle signature too, very professional! and discreet enough to allow viewing of the main subject without distraction.Really nice work Pamela!Warm RegardsAlf Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted May 9, 2010 Very good control of focus. Natural color palette, feels like Spring. :) Link to comment
blue-olympus 0 Posted May 9, 2010 Indeed a beautiful macro shot with nicely controlled DOF....Regards Link to comment
dbasinger 0 Posted May 9, 2010 The color is beautiful and dof shows just enough back ground. Framing is what makes this unique. Really like it. Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted May 9, 2010 Nice image of a beautiful flower. I think you could lose some of the bottom of the crop, it pulls me down out of the picture without adding a lot. - Charles Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 5 Posted May 11, 2010 This is so lovely Pamela! I am not familiar with this flower; does it grow only in cold areas? You have captured its beauty in a rather regal way; excellent work! Thank you for sharing! Link to comment
