Stretton Water Mill

An excellent HDR Alf! I'm normally not a big fan of HDRs, but in this instance it's highly effective, with the enhanced detail really compiments the scene. This has an old masters feel to it that I find really attractive.

Sincere thanks for looking in, I understand totally your reservations about HDR,  it is an aspect of photography that gets misused to some degree, not everything is suited to HDR after all, but I'm really pleased you liked this one.

Your P/P in this image just boggles my mind (hmmm that isn't all that difficult, truly..) but what a lovely scene.  The history behind the mill is fascinating.  So hard to believe that such structures from other centuries still exist, and the fact that the wheel still works is amazing, as are all the details in this beautiful landscape.  I see I have some catching up to do, but it will be a pleasure.  Most sincerely, Gail
