Hi, i find this one really interesting...interesting is even your approach in shooting places....they are not architechture photos, they look like stories, but with people intentionally left apart...is this wrong?

Yeah, I'd say that I try to capture the personality of a place as I find it and that I hope that in that way I can capture a bit of the story of the people absent from my pictures. I guess I'm drawn to these quiet, almost lonely places often enough.

 

That said, I just uploaded a few pictures that actually do have people in them--sort of a first for me--and I like a couple of them a lot.

An interesting attempt, but a tripod wouldve really helped. Even so, its a strong combination of colors, which I really like. I dont do a lot of night photography, but what I have done has yielded some nice images, though with a great waste of film. Barring having a decent light meter you might wind up guessing at exposure times in manual mode to get the effects you want.
