wieslawmamon 0 Posted May 4, 2010 thank you for visiting.Shawn, thank you for letting me know what especially appeals to you here,Andrea, sure I do, must say you have an excellent memory, in a way this could be titled 'Pulse revisited' as both pictures were taken in the same street:-)Best regards. 3m 0 Posted May 5, 2010 I agree, this is also a very fine photo, Wieslaw. -- I like your pov, (it almost feels as if you were away from sight somehow...?) and all the different patterns and textures visible in your photo. And yes, the dots on the sleeves of the girl's coat fit perfectly into the multi patterns here as well, I believe. A very nice capture! Best regards to you, Marjolein Link to comment
wieslawmamon 0 Posted May 7, 2010 Marjolein, thank you for your observations, the shorter focal length (21.3mm) made an impression of the girl being much farther than it actually was, in fact the distance was only about 3-4 metres but luckily she was so busy texting someone that she didn't look at me even after hearing the sound of my camera shutter:-}.Luiz, welcome, appreciate your visit and comment.Best regards. human images 4 Posted November 8, 2010 love the soft light here, the beauty of tone, the mystery child walking of frame... Yours is an old world photographic sensibility that I appreciate Wieslaw, you're a teller of old world stories, and each of your uploads is uniformly elegant and the stories they tell are laced with poetry and every picture is layered with an understanding of how light works, a masterful control over light that is rooted in a classic art.
