We spent a wonderful day in Ohio Amish country and tried a few

landscapes. Another new category for me. Your comments will be

much appreciated.

A little bit over saturated for my taste and the hilights are just a little blown but I think your composition is phenominal and I love the way you've framed it.

Thanks for helping me with this picture. Out of the camera it was more subtle and I did "auto smart fix" on Photo Shop and that enhanced the colors quite a bit. The shot was taken in the evening and it was hazy but I may have over-compensated too much. I will work with it a little more.

Thank you for the comment. I took several shots of this scene from different spots and wasn't sure if the lilacs were too intrusive but based on your comment I'm glad I didn't change it.

Your conditions were overcast and not the best for this type of image but I like your composition and applaud you for an appealing result. I looked at it hard and long and i would not change anything here.

I might have gone for a 2nd shot by putting on my telephoto, moving to the right and making the horse the center of interest with the background slightly out of focus. You know there is no right or wrong in photography so this '2nd shot' is just food for thought.

All the very best and thanks for your visit today,
