Windswept

Shot on a magnificent evening late in march. The combination of golden

light, long shadows and a furious wind coming down the mountain

created a wonderful scene. I had to reshoot this a few times since the

wind swept me off my feet and shook the tripod. Got away with one of

my own favourite winterscenes...

Love this shot.  It made me feel cold and windswept to look at it.  The lighting is great and the composition and love the shadows and snow being blown around.  Worth the trouble to get!!

Great composition Arlid.  I really like the colors and the sunburst coming through the trees.  The diagonal line created by the snow looks great.
