very nice, composed & exposed perfect. These get over exposed. I would like to see what a little shorter exposure would look like out of curiousity. I not putting your photo down,,,Hey, mine like this never look that good,,,

Really nice shot -- the yellow-greens in the trees are wonderful. I love taking photos from my armchair (it's so easy), and I wonder about eliminating some of the fairly extensive whitewater which I don't think is nearly as interesting, at least in this amount, as the moss on the rocks and trees. I would do this by raising the camera (or zooming in slightly) so that the lower edge of the photo was just starting to make contact with the first rock on the right. That would still show plenty of flowing water, but more emphasis would be shifted to the colors in the photo. I must say that for shots like this, one of the greatest difficulties I have is deciding where to put the lower edge -- whether the water should simply flow unimpeded out the bottom of the photo, or whether there should be some natural anchors (in this case, the rocks) to help form a portion of the lower border.

Adrian - Great job on composing this photo.  I know right where you were.  I have a very similar series of photos from the same place.  Tell Kevin hello for me next time you see him...

There are two elements in this picture that complement each other well to some extent.  The time-lapse exposure and low angle give, IMO, the feeling that the viewer is travelling at high-speed into the woods.  IMO this effect would have worked just fine without the heavy saturation of the foliage.  The almost-neon colour scheme diverts attention from the first effect.  Though this works for achieving a strong contrast, I think the picture would have felt less forced without the huge saturation.  Nonetheless a great shot.

Much of my own photography has been done in western Washington, including the Olympic Peninsula and Hoh rainforest.  In looking at the greens in this photograph, this is not outside my experience, and I'd be reluctant to characterize this color as near-neon green or hugely saturated.  The ferns in the background look to me as if they might have received some boost in saturation, but so much depends on the time of year.  Only Adrian knows to what extent the greens have been made greener (either directly through a saturation tool or indirectly through increased contrast) than what the eye saw.  Adrian, could you set us straight?

This is another one of my favorites from your collection. Many people were commenting that they didn't like the amount of white water. I have to disagree. I think that you nailed the comp here.
