I took this picture at my son's basketball game. Please tell me if im

doing something wrong egarding exposure or if I can improve technique.

the main problem you have here is the shutter speed is too slow. Not sure what it actually is, but needs to be closer to 1/400. Try raising ISO on your camera to maximum and use the lowest aperture number you can on your lens (shooting in manual is a good idea). See if you can get 1/400, ISO 1600 or higher if your camera supports it.

Nice shot! I particularly like how the color creates depth in the image. I also like how the 2 boys are  caught in mid air.
