Stunning image Tony! I, too, like the original crop the best. The undulating ripples of the background really add to this marvelous image. While I agree that it requires a degree of luck to come across something this precious, you still had to have the skill, and vision, to capture this. Well done Tony.

All the best,

Neil

that is a such great work, the aestethic and originality in the choose of the motive extraordinary, also the blue tones and proyection of the light in the ice. Very well done..!

This is absolutely exquisite, a veritable gem of a shot, the tighter cropped version and the original, it wouldn't matter how this image was presented, the main elements of colour and light dictate it's obvious and well deserved success.

Well done Tony! This image deserves no less than a 7/7 but alas you have been very generous with your ratings on my image, I will not rate it any less than the highest and I will return at a later date to just that!

Kind Regards

Your comment is highly appreciated but I must remind myself that I still need to grow as a photographer. As mentioned before, I got lucky on this one. Best regards,

Hi Tony,

Another stunning image from you.

The blue tones are excellent and the light is perfect. Making this simple motive standing out and catching the eye.

Whether the cropping is right or not, is a question of taste. Personally a bit tighter cropping perhaps - but  nevertheless an excellent photo.

You have my admiration.

All the best
