jo2 0 Posted March 19, 2010 Hi, i really like the look and feel of this pic and the title suits it very well! well done....ps...i especially like your frame that you have framed it in, did you do that in photoshop? could you give me a tip or two on how its done? i am trying to teach myself photoshop and have managed to figure out how to do a few simple frames but i really like yours. thanks Jo Link to comment
tangerine1 0 Posted March 19, 2010 I really like how everything in this picture contributes to the idea of loneliness: the silhouette, the line of empty benches and the pavement lines in the foreground leading the eye to the main subject, the misty background, etc. The warm soft light is also perfectly adequate. Moreover, I feel it's not a painfull loneliness, but a serene one. This picture is not spectacular at first sight, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It's an invitation to meditation... Link to comment
dallalb 0 Posted March 19, 2010 Thank you for your comment! I agree that this loneliness is not a painful one but the atmosphere conveys a sense of warm and peace.Joanne, I created this frame with PS CS3 and designed it specifically to suit Photo.net page... You have to add canvas around the image and play with layers blending options (right click on a layer) to set shadows of the frame.Alberto. Link to comment
