Cub Lake still frozen over in March

with the warm March Temperature in Minnesota the snow is nearly gone

but the lakes are still frozen over. This is Cub Lake in Bear Head state

park.

A beautiful scene naturally framed with birch. Nice capture.

Great capture, really good dynamic range.

I like the 3D look from the trees in foreground across the lake to the trees in bg.

I join to Monte`s thoughts. The 3D-effect that rises from the birch row is interesting. As a whole this is very great spring-photo that has both the light and the colours in a ice balance.

A little jewel of a lake for sure Paul - well shown here. Early spring is a great time of year in the North - (before the bugs!).
