Near the summit of Col du Mont Maudit (4345 m) you are facing a 100m

climb up a very steep (60 degree) ice slope. In the present picture from

around noon we rapel down the slope after summiting Mont Blanc. The

steepnes of the slope is more evident on picture no. 2. Your comments

are most welcome.

Nicely documented - that was quitte an adventure. I Hope your battery did not die out with that extreme cold.

Hi Bella. You just have to carry your camera in an inside pocket close to your body. My personal batteries went flat - but the camera had no problems! Best regards Per.

I find that people who attempt this are very 'brave'. This may sound odd, but I do not know that I would be that adventurous, although I wish I was!
