Waves Rush In...

My quest of finding quiet beaches in India started from Konkanseashore. This is taken at the southern part of Maharashtra. As soonas I reached here, the large flock of seabirds has already excited me.My heartbeats grew faster as I stepped on this sand. The crescentshaped beach was spread over near the feet of the coastal hills. Thecoconut trees on those hills were glowing in the late afternoonlight, the seabirds were enjoying at the shallow waters, their noiseas a music to this wonderful scene.

The rocks were cropping out of the soft yellow sand, and the crabs ranfor the cover as we got closer. Some little crabs had drawn wonderfuldesigns on the sand. I could not stop taking pictures. I moved westernside of the shore and their lied this long stretch of the beachtowards the south. The rocks reminded me of the Oregon beaches.Although not as big as the sea stacks on the Pacific coast. When wereached there, it was a low tide and the ocean was still farther frommost of the rocks. Crashing waves could be a site to enjoy here. Theatmosphere the calmness was so familiar and so dear to me that I wasalready going frenzy. I just could think rationally I think for firsthalf an hour. After some time and some evaluation I zeroed in on theserocks. I could only capture this vertical shot with waves in actionbefore the Sun quickly disappeared behind the clouds. But that frozethe moment of connection with the ocean I met again on the easternside of the earth.
