Spring Morning

Mike, the tree, sky and lighting are nice. Would be nice to be able to get the shot without the distraction of the power lines, pole and signs - although I know some things just can't be changed much. My eye wants to see more foreground though in order to balance a bit more with so much sky.

I think the idea was to capture the pole and stop sign etc., but they are a bit overwhelmed by the size of the tree and the lovely sky. I have a collection of images of signs, so I know very well why you took this shot. regards, Adrienne

Adrienne & Dave. Thanks for stopping by & making some good honest suggestions. I honestly appreciate this. After all these years of taking pictures, I still tend to include too much of the sky in my landscapes. I guess I'm not a very good listener. thanks again.

Your tree and sky are amazing... it's the power-lines and the signs that disturb and distract... could you clone them out?

Bringing in the ethereal subconsciously are we Mike? These scenes become us, become our Illinois.

What an amazing color photograph, this one makes me feel something, it is pleasent yet mysterious, everything about it is wonderful. Also dont crop the sky, the richness of the blue makes this photograph so appealing in my opinion.
