hstelljes 41 Posted March 15, 2010 I can feel the wetness on the stone. The smokey texture of the water and the posts leading the eye out to sea all add up to a wonderful image. Continued excellence from you Alf. Best Regards, Holger Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted March 16, 2010 This photograph contains many amazing elements: a dramatic sky, a soft touch on the water at the shoreline, beautiful muted colors, the rock having a prominent place in the scene, with the pilings providing interesting subject-matter contrast. In summary, I wish I could create a photograph as incredible as this one. Please be assured I will return to view your portfolio to satisfy my cravings for such eye candy. johnroberts 0 Posted March 20, 2010 Great exposure to create the misty and silky water. I like the way the light catches one side of the rock to create a magical composition. I have to correct you on the powers of the stone, I touched it and made a wish when I played soccer for Llandulas before our local derby against Llysfaen which we went on to win !!! alfbailey 4 Posted March 20, 2010 Ok you've convinced! me!........... I'm going back to Llamdulas to touch it before Liverpool play Man United again.....somehow I think we'll need all the luck we can get! Great to hear from you John and thank you for your kind comments. Kind Regards Alf Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted January 17, 2012 The ratings police busted me again for trying to rate this photograph as it deserves. Sigh . . .It is obvious to me that you shot this photograph to illustrate the legend. I easily can see the young girls gathering around the stone. Your soft touch here really makes it work.My best, michael Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted January 17, 2012 Many Thanks for your interest and kind words and humble apologies for my late response, I jsut didn't catch this one.Best RegardsAlfMICHAEL Ahhh this must be an old one, I no longer put my photo's up for rating. I am a tad concerned that they don't get the traffic that perhaps they would if I did put them up for rating, so I'm reconsidering it my stance on this, but for now, I prefer to get feedback, And I thank you most sincerely for yours.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
