Great image - love the contradictory lines - building and sky.

I also have a D300 and the ISO niose is pretty good. Just wondering why you chose 1/1250 s speed f6.3 and ISO 1000. I might have reduced the ISO to 200 and reduce the shutter speed. Sometimes i get so engrossed in the composition and I forget to change the ISO to what is required. At one point I looked at the sky and thought that is what you would get if you had a long exposure so i am perplexed. Is this a the result of two images?

It really does not matter what you did to achieve this result but i am looking to improve and learn from the masters like you.
