dabar 0 Posted March 11, 2010 Thirty-nine homes were lost in this fire that started around 11pm lastnight. There were also a number of small businesses destroyed. I havenot yet heard of any loss-of-life or serious injuries.This is, unfortunately, a common occurrence in dense, lightlyconstructed areas such as this one.This was about one kilometer from my home. GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 16, 2010 How unfortunate Dave.....but documenting these unfortunate happenings is still necessary.....our local paper used to use a lot of my Dad's photos years ago. I don't think I've ever seen a sky this red from a fire. (sure glad you couldn't have seen my grandson there!). Link to comment
