Great b&w! I was thinking: the blur of the passers-by could have two different interpretations, or even both - the blur conveys very well the sense of motion and, at the same time, it's like the two have been "touched" by the man's look in a sort of supernatural way, influencing their aura... does it show that I've just finished reading one of Stephen King's novels? :-)) A very interesting capture!

Bill,

I have to agree with Mauro this one does put me in mind of a Stephen King novel, would be a great cover for the front of the book. A very interesting capture. Take care, Patsy

This is great. It's creepy and very original. I think a very good capture. Well done Bill.

Bill, i luv that this scene is filled with defining elements, all extremely well balanced, to present the creepiness and wierdness the innocent young couple is momentarily trapped in; an excellent b&w dramatic piece. and thanks to you ever-so-much, Bill, for your detailed technical comments on The Old Pot and Spoon; critique from someone with your experience is precious to me. Please visit my posts whenever time permits you; and i guess the old spoon has magic, because it's spent quite a few here and there moments ready to give a stir or taste ;-}

Very interesting character. Spooky...and you have pumpkins in the foreground which makes one think of Halloween. Great capture. Becky

this 'fella' [the watcher] seems anchored to a circular baseplate... a well-timed, finely composed shot with pleasing tones
