(and i am so moved by your lovely verbalization of the spontaneity that inspires my still life work; you've resolved the guilt i've often felt about describing them as "still life". warm thanks.) ;-) dp

Thanks Steven and Donna for your comments. I did remove more detail from the snow in this shot (it seemed to demand it) in order to focus on the shadowed under-bench. I really appreciate comments from gifted photographers such as you . . . it's one of the best parts of this site- besides just getting comments on our work, we get tips on how to look at and comment on images.
