After a prolonged absence of critique requests, I really want to know what works better: the above photo, or the color version at http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1309519? I would also appreciate additional comments on how this shot could have been improved.

color. I like the black and white too, but I love the golden tones of the color version. Nice job!

I'm a big fan of black and white, but in this case I'll have to cast my vote for the color version. Both are nice images, well composed. I'm curious why you chose SFX 200?

It's B & W for me, the colour shot is less defined and less involving. V difficult shot to get right - you have.

I like the color version better. I was looking at the B&W before I noticed your request and it seemed very "heavy" to me. The color one adds just the right information needed to make the picture for me.
