cisarano 0 Posted February 20, 2003 Maybe it's just the scan, but the wall seems so flat. Nice range of tones. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted June 16, 2005 Separ is a small collection of crumbling buildings next to a truckstop in southern New Mexico. One hundred years ago, it was a mustering point for cavalry soldiers on their way to support General Pershing's punitive expedition into Mexico against Pancho Villa. How times change... dave_nitsche 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Nice image. I think the brightness in the foreground is hiding the framed plant in the BG a bit. Not sure if I would burn the foreground a bit or not. I really like the feel of the image and I am not sure if 'messing' with burning would hinder the emotion of it. I am in the Rate Recent Kiosk and can't see any details. What was this shot with? Thanks... Dave Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted June 16, 2005 Dave, this was shot with a Mamiya C330f twin lens reflex and the 55mm lens, using a Hoya R72 filter and Ilford SFX 200. Thanks for the comments so far. Looking at this now, I can see that the scan was a little flat; the print shows a lot better. I think I need to upgrade my flatbed scanner when I get home from Kuwait. Link to comment
