I think your daughter is very beautiful. Her eyes and skin are amazing. I don't think that the bright, colourful, out of focus candy does anything for this image at all. It really distracts from the lovely little face. This is just my humble opinion. I am not going to rate it. Best wishes, Linda

Beautiful daughter...she must be about two years older than my own. I don't think I could critique anything about her (light reflecting in her eyes is amazing, the partially obscured chin also draws us into the eyes as well; tight crop makes it a very personal shot...wonderful).

 

I do agree about the candy though. It it were in focus we could actually recognize it, but then your distracting from the focal point of the photo: your subject. I would also say "ditch the candy" because of that point. Either that, or have the full shot in focus, but limit the portion the candy takes up.
