I don't think that the bright, colourful, out of focus candy does anything for this image at all. It really distracts from the lovely little face. This is just my humble opinion. I don't think I could critique anything about her (light reflecting in her eyes is amazing, the partially obscured chin also draws us into the eyes as well; tight crop makes it a very personal shot...wonderful). I do agree about the candy though. It it were in focus we could actually recognize it, but then your distracting from the focal point of the photo: your subject. I would also say "ditch the candy" because of that point. Either that, or have the full shot in focus, but limit the portion the candy takes up. Thank you for this photo.
