I'm not sure I've seen a more magnificent photograph of a flower. The colors are spectacular, asis the detail on the subject. Your DOF is perfect.

No apology required - we all have time issues and it is virtually impossible to visit all of the images here at PN. I have non photographic items I should be doing right now but here I am at Photo.net. I really try and have something "special" when I load a flower image and it is not easy. For what it is worth, I think the background is as important as the subject. Thanks for the visit

always like it when you pay a visit to the flower section. this would not be my favorite flower image by any means, but the b/g makes it a worthy submission. b/g and flower images seem to fit like a glove on a hand, think has something to do with all the marvelous colors involved in this genre. stay well my friend!

Wow - it s not just the great colors but the gentle curve and the well positioned out of focus orange flowers in the background that augments the beauty of this image. Very well done!

Tony. Very well done. Lovely color and depth. I wonder about the leaf at the bottom which seems to be trying to sneak into the main image.

My thanks to everyone for visiting, commenting and rating - much appreciated. My eyes are closing down so it is off to slumber land in a few minutes. My vision - correctly or incorrectly was to include that sliver of leaf so that the viewer could connect with the blurred green in the background. I will visit your images but not tonight.

Stunning color and great DOF! Bouganvillea vines are tied with Plumbago as my favorite vines due to their color and exuberance! The house in which I grew up had one side of it covered in this delightful flower (fuchsia variety) and from my upstairs window I could see my neighbors horses and the golf course all framed by these beauties. I guess that is a long way of telling you thank you for bringing those memories back to me while viewing your photo! Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :)
