I got drawn to this image instantly. Both the framing as well as the colors complement each other very well - the contrast between reddish and greenish works excellently. I don't feel that the neon lights on the left are out of place - the shine they emit feels very interesting, and is an interesting element breaking up the otherwise near-perfect symetry.
