Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2010 Paul, I am not sure what if you were trying to convey it or not, but the backward tilt of the model constrews a body language that she is uncomfortable with the situation. It is as if she is backing away from the camera. Her eye contact with the camera is very good though. By rotating the image about 20º CCW and bringing her back to more of a vertical plane I think it makes for a more engaging portrait of this very beautiful woman. In so doing, however, I was forced to crop out her necklace, the large ball of which was a little distractign as it had the reflection of the lights in it. Link to comment
gaule 0 Posted February 3, 2010 Well captured expression! There's a certain sadness there that speaks of the experience of life. Link to comment
paulmac 0 Posted February 3, 2010 Thank you both for your comments. Scott, looking at your version I think I'd have to agree with you. I went to too much effort to include the necklace and was sacrificing the important part of the picture for a secondary element. Over the next few days I'll knock up a new version. Thanks again!
