lliebl 5 Posted February 3, 2010 Excellent! The perpendicular shadow lines over the snow drifts would make this more of an abstract had you not captured the figure in the background. Well done! ~~~~~~~~~L Link to comment
alessandra_manzotti 0 Posted February 4, 2010 really nice graphic concept...a bit too bad for the person in the background. ciao Alessandra Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 5, 2010 Excellent! How nice to find virgin snow, sunshine and shadows all at the same time. A very nice shot. Link to comment
wieslawmamon 0 Posted February 7, 2010 Linda – couldn't agree more, the figure of a man makes the difference here and, exactly as you observe, changes its abstract feel into more real scene. Alessandra – I had thought of different crop without the part of the frame with a hiker but finally resigned because the scene as is better reflects my impression of the place. On the other hand, as most part of the frame is abstract, the presence of the hiker, even with his placement in the corner and in between the trees, may be indeed found distracting. So, thanks a lot for letting me know how you see the 'human factor' here:-} Shawn – had exactly the same feelings about the place the moment I saw it:-} Michael – glad you enjoy it and like b&w conversion. Again, thank you for your time. Best regards to you all. Link to comment
momagnum 5 Posted February 7, 2010 Wieslaw. The running shadows of your image makes it very special, and it enhance the feeling of soft snow. You have a good eye for grafics and the way grafics work in a picture. Just another brilliant Wieslaw Mamon picture. Tommy Link to comment
