iancoxleigh 0 Posted January 29, 2010 A small study from Watkin's Glen that I dug out of my files last night. All comments appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted February 5, 2010 This has grown on me over time. I have been back to it now several times. At first I felt that it begged for a square crop up from the bottom. I do not believe so now. In fact, I think you have it just right. The olive-green moss at LL is important and balances with the yellow leaves. This is a fine homage to the work of Eliot Porter, Ian. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted February 7, 2010 Chris, thanks for the comments. They're much appreciated. I am particularly thankful for your mention of Eliot Porter. I knew not of his work and have enjoyed browsing through what I can find of it online. His interest in the details of things reminds me of much of the work Guy Tal: just a slightly different (post-Velvia) aesthetic. Link to comment
