This is a very nice shot of a beautiful animal.

If I may, I have a few suggestions. Overall, the image has a decidedly yellowish cast to it and the log(?) it is lying on is a yellowish green. I am sure it was the lighting and you may not have known where to set your white balance.

I also wish the depth of field were a little deeper so the lizard's entire forelimb and left side if its head were in sharp focus.

@Scott - Thanks for your analysis and suggestions. Of course, Yes I see the color correction and sharpening has enhanced the photo a lot. The brown tint of the log has made it more dramatic. Actually during PP I tuned the color balance a bit, but never thought about the yellowish cast on the log. Thats the EYE one wish to have. Thanks once again.

I think you have done a great job here over all.After looking at the full size image I would suggest cleaning the noise.Otherwise great shot.
