A quite serious knot securing an equally serious black-out curtain. An obvious intent not only to obstruct view but to prevent light from entering or exiting. A shot worth contemplating. Well done. ~~~~~~L

I am hooked here. Beautifully composed, Jack. This image inspires me to look around more. I must rush to put it in my Favorites so I can come back to study often.

Simple? only at the first glance, but looking better it has all. Colors, different materials form, composition of geometic diagonal, round form, rectangles, human touch, and vision!

I like as well the thin lined frame with a touch of a different red., very delicate, and very appealling composition.

For me, the painful thoroughness dedicated to the art of tying a series of quasi sailor knots to fix that shade makes the image absolute unique. Very well captured, Jack. I really enjoyed this one.

Hmm... Pulling Down the Shades... hiding some folders... I hope and believe that an annual clean-up is just happening here.

This one has surprisingly powerfull visual impact by the intense color and overall clarity. That dark shade with it's delicate surface structure and bulging edges make the light play an interesting show. There is more of it on the wall itself. And then we have the blond star herself in quite tense and knotty mood.

Hola Jack.

Elegance is what first came to my mind and after I just prefer to enjoy it. Thanks for this nice shot.

Abrazos.
