Though last time I was there a police officer mentioned about issuing a 'ticket' to me for being at the Garden Of The Gods after closing time, I was all hyped about this shot and idea. When I reached by Siamese Twins formation, I located the Polaris, North Star (point of rotation in this picture)....I was even more excited. This picture took two and half hours. After the exposure began my mind was still going....India, life, photography, etc etc but as time goes on, you realize you are not leaving soon. You have couple of hours to think.... and calm down. As the exposure was finishing, it was all calm, calm around me and inside me... all I could see was glimmering city lights far away... hope you enjoy this picture....

part of start trail photography is that you can spend couple of hours

by your camera and you come back with one or two photographs. Like

this picture took two and half hours. After the exposure began my mind

was still going....India, life, photography, love, etc etc but as time

goes on, you realize you are not leaving soon. You have couple of

How long does it take a moment ... ?

Some people believe that photography is just capturing an instant, a moment. But there are photographs like yours that revert that paradigm.

Uniqueness in photography is amazingly well performed in your work.

Congratulations !

Eye-catching shot, wonderful description.... but the Garden of the Gods has a "closing time" and you can get a "ticket" for being there after "closing time?" Good grief, what is happening to us?

Thank you the comments... yes there is a closing time and you can get a ticket for being there and especially neighbors complaint.... :-) But I am so glad the place exist.... helps me get out and explore nature a bit. And helps to keep my growing belly down a bit... thanks again for your time... :-)
