daveinwilton 1 Posted January 10, 2010 This could be a great portrait with just a bit of extra "help". Do not get me wrong, I like this photograph a lot, enough that I would love to see the extra effort PP. The bright specks in her left upper lashes are quite distracting. Your model or client may favorably be receptive of a little bit of healing brush over a few blemmishes on her cheek and chin. Lastly, if she was a model, I do not feel the nose ring helps; if she was a client, show her a copy with it cloned out, she may like it better. She has beautiful eyes and they should remain the focus. Just my $.02, thank you for sharing. -Dave Link to comment
sallydouglas 0 Posted January 12, 2010 Hi Rob... I agree with Dave... The little white dots around her left upper eye take your eye away from her face, which is indeed, a very beautiful one... Also, the skin spots are far too noticeable... Other than these 2 small minor points, everything else is terrific... I love the way you have used the light and the angle at which the shot was taken... Best wishes... Sally... Link to comment
wizimir 0 Posted January 13, 2010 Nice shallow DOF - but the eye itself needs to be in focus. That cannot be fixed in post process. What can be done is to smooth the skin a bit and clone out the nose ring. Link to comment
