Guest Guest Posted January 10, 2010 This is a truly stunning image. Something you could spend a whole summer looking for and be lucky to find (which I will this summer!) Just for grins I turned it 30º CW and put the fencewire on the diagonal to see what it looked like. It took a pretty fair amount of cloning and healing brush work to fill in the blank areas, but I think the diagonal only makes this already very strong image even stronger. I did a "Hasselblad" crop on it to draw more attention to the pure design element of it. What do you think? Link to comment

Alex 0 Posted January 14, 2010 Terrific capture. The texture and contrast between the 2 are fenomenal. This trully is one great image. As far as the tilt (personally) I prefer the original format, I did like the fact that it was sharpened a bit more. In any event, the image is remarkable. Alex Link to comment
zeljko_zizak 0 Posted January 15, 2010 Well, I adore diagonal compositions, and tried to exploit diagonal lines whenever I can. But in this case barb wire is horizontal because its looks natural for me. Thank You all for encouraging comments. I'm really flattered. Link to comment
