tjfuss 0 Posted January 2, 2010 The public playground at Manhattan Square Park in Rochester, NY provides a wealth of subject possibilities. The play surface is a squishy pad of rubbery particles bonded together. Unlike other uses in our area, they built this one with vivid colors and interesting shapes. This image is a sentimental favorite of mine because I was out shooting that afternoon with my 10 yr old daughter. She was shooting with my back-up camera and came back with a couple of really good abstracts as well. Link to comment
jamesberg 0 Posted January 3, 2010 I like the strong contrast in colors. To me, it sort of looks like you were shooting the side of a hill in Autumn with sky in background. The leaves breaking up the colors and looking like foliage add to the image. The lighter blue and green on the right are a bit of a distraction though, but that is just my opinion. Nice job and keep up the good work! Link to comment

maurocarli 0 Posted January 3, 2010 Very interesting and original abstract. I can't decide if it would be better without the part on the right side....I'd say more essential in one case, richer in the other: both make sense. Nicely done indeed! Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted January 20, 2010 Oh boy, those colors are terrific!!!! Of course, the composition is perfect too; I’m lucky to have stumbled into your portfolio, it seems to me that you’re quite a master abstractionist. Cheers! Link to comment
