This belongs in a bird book... Wonderful capture. I think the ISO was just a little to high, I can see a little noise but it's not to distracting. Great job.

Thank you all! Yes John, ISO was 800...I'd usually rather have noise than blur. I tried the noise ninja on it, but decided I'd rather have all the detail and put up with the noise.

Hi Kim, I really like this view of the bird and the softness of the whole image is wonderful. If Reader's Digest were still showing nature photos on the back or their magazine you would have a sure winner here. I hope you are not offended by that statement because some photographers would be. However, this is exactly how RD used to show their back page photos.

I used to read that, but I can't remember the picture on the back too well. Of course I wouldn't find that insulting....I'm amazed that people are starting to give me such nice compliments! Thank you, Shawn!
