plottphoto 0 Posted December 26, 2009 This belongs in a bird book... Wonderful capture. I think the ISO was just a little to high, I can see a little noise but it's not to distracting. Great job. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted December 27, 2009 Thank you all! Yes John, ISO was 800...I'd usually rather have noise than blur. I tried the noise ninja on it, but decided I'd rather have all the detail and put up with the noise. Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted December 27, 2009 These are some very fine bird images; great detail, composition and your processing are spot on. Beautifully done, Kim. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted December 30, 2009 Hi Kim, I really like this view of the bird and the softness of the whole image is wonderful. If Reader's Digest were still showing nature photos on the back or their magazine you would have a sure winner here. I hope you are not offended by that statement because some photographers would be. However, this is exactly how RD used to show their back page photos. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 30, 2009 I used to read that, but I can't remember the picture on the back too well. Of course I wouldn't find that insulting....I'm amazed that people are starting to give me such nice compliments! Thank you, Shawn! Link to comment
