Very nice image Tony. I really like the feel of wilderness in this shot. I find it appears slightly tilted to the right though, i applied a 1.7 degree ccw and it looks much more leveled. Regards - michel

Michel I agree with your observation that it seems tilted. There must be distortion because I used the trees on the left and the black trunk on the right as my reference points. I will try the recommended CCW and see what I get.

What I realy like about this shot is the sense of the wildness of the terrain, the atmosphere that lends the possibility that you could be one of only a few people that have stood in that spot, or maybe even the only person!

Hi again, Tony. From your exposure information, I assume this is an HDR shot. Is that correct?

Thanks for visiting. This is not HDR - I was able to capture it with a single image. With the Sigma 10-20 mm and the D300, I always have to under-expose to get the correct exposure.
