trisha jean-angela 5 Posted December 24, 2009 John, I really like this with the soft colors. I like the horizontal and vertical lines playing off eachother. This sort of reminds me of the Wizard of Oz in the way that the movie is black and white and then turns into color; the edges give the impression of it being black and white and the center turns into color. Very well seen and done; thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted August 11, 2013 This image caught my attention immediately because it appealed to me. The appeal is because I see wonderful abstract characteristics. Let me start with the forms created by the broken glass : L-R the first seems to be a flying cow, the 2nd represents two people on their knees facing each other and the third is a large saxophone. The 'green tiles' add to that abstract value. Because I see it that way, many of the other elements are a bit too 'modern' but if someone else was looking it, these modern may be considered as visual contrast. I have cloned out 3 items and converted it to B&W even though I like that green. What I have not done is not a recommendation since photography is too personal for that. It is to simply show another possibility All the best, Link to comment
