This must be another photograph from your recent road trip. It certainly appears that you had an enjoyable time. I like the inclusion of the shoreline grasses in the image which lets me know we are at the water's edge and experiencing the bliss of the moment. The far hill appears to be on fire with the autumn colors.

Thanks for the visit and the nice comment. Yes it is from my recent trip which included this area in Carcross Yukon. I was on a bus tour in 2006 from Skagway (Alaska) to Carcross and as a photographer I was quite frustrated at the photo ops and not being able stop to gather the image. I vowed to myself that I would be back driving at my own leisure and what a drive from Montreal to the Yukon and Alaska. I have a better understanding why professionals charge what they do for an image.

Thanks - I also like the sky. I had passed this scene earlier in the day - grabbed a few shots but this one was later in the afternoon with more attractive cloulds and light. I almost wish "they" would 'freeze' the lighting conditions so that I would have more time to gather in all of the vicinity attractions. I feel blessed to have experienced this.

A well balanced and composed image, the foreground grasses placing is just perfect and give a real sense of depth to the whole image. I Can't fault it.

Great Shot!
