This is a very interesting image. To show so much of the falls area without actually showing the falls itself! I am not 100% sure it works, but, it is certainly interesting.

I can see why you'd want to focus on the canyon though. It IS a very lovely canyon (I have my own canyon-only shot here) and you have done very well with the exposure to show it in such lovely light. The colour and contrast are spot-on.

I know it's kinda a big tease not showing the falls. But I really liked my foreground leading off into the canyon. I liked the swirling motion of the ice leading the eye down the canyon. I don't have pano software or a wider lens so I made due with what I have. Plus I wanted something different than what everyone else has of falls and canyon together. It's experimental, does it work- sort of, but it does look awesome. Ry

Who needs the water fall? This is an excellent landscape Ryan! Glorious light through the canyon, reflected off of the river, and the lovely, subtle, colors of the sunset is the icing on an already excellent cake.
