On the road to Piñango (2).

I didn't receive much attention when I submitted this photo some time

ago. I'm curious to have some opinions on the high contrast of the

horses with respect to the background. The original was in color, but

I like the texture that the b/w gives to the background, and the way

the horses stand against it. Opinions on that? Rates and comments are

very welcomed. Thanks.

As I like horses I like the photo as well!

Reminds me of the wild burros in the California, Nevada area around Death Valley. Nice panoramic framing. I would of liked to see more detail on the burros then just shadows. Consider using a gradual filter to reduce the glare from the background and emphesize the details in the shadows. Nice Work!

Thanks for the comments. The original print does have some more details in the shadows, but I need a better scanner to get that in the digital version.

Alberto, the problem of the focus is mostly a problem in the scan. The actual print is sharper...
