randy_samos 0 Posted February 2, 2003 I like this composistion. I'd really like to see the print though - I suspect that digital viewing doesn't do it justice. Link to comment
kevin_hicks 0 Posted February 2, 2003 I am new to large format photography - this is only exposure number seven for me. I developed the negative in HC-110 (dilution B) with a Jobo CPP-2. The negative was scanned with an Epson 2450. Your comments will be helpful and appreciated. Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted February 2, 2003 I agree that there is just now way that a 72 dpi screen is going to do just to a large format negative. But from what I see, you've done a fine job with a full range of tonalities from white to black and you've even manage to capture a sense of the mist which, in my experience, is one of the most difficult challenges in photography. Great work! Link to comment
ian_macdonald2 0 Posted February 3, 2003 I think it would be better without the foliage on the foreground trees. Then you might experiment with different views of the tree trunks. Link to comment
OCULUS New York 0 Posted February 3, 2003 Elegant symmetry, and yes, I'll bet those tones are tops. Great start, Kevin. Link to comment
glenn_larsen 0 Posted February 4, 2003 I think this photo is well balanced, and evokes a mood with the fog. Link to comment
