armandventer 0 Posted December 4, 2009 I always wanted to take a photo of a fish eagle and now I have done it. The next time I see one I can work on getting a better quality photo. Link to comment
matman1975 0 Posted December 5, 2009 Hello Armand...this shot is the perfect example of how a bad lens can ruin a well seen, well composed image. The vertical framing and the balance which the left branch-stick creates in combination with the bird to the right are signs that you have the "eye" for wildlife photography...your lens though is a disaster. Pay attention at the blue-purple halo around the edges of your subjects (especially in bright areas such as the eagle's neck)...this is a sign of poor quality glass....sharpness, clarity and contrast are awful too....don't waste your time with lenses that can't bring out the desirable result, you've got potential as a wildlife photographer!
